Summary
Naranest is a tracking and organisation tool for parents and carers. We are not paediatricians or healthcare professionals. The application and the reports it generates are for informational and support purposes only and do not replace consultation with a paediatrician, doctor or any other health professional. You should always follow your healthcare professional's advice and, if in any doubt about your baby's health, consult them.
1. Nature of the Service
Naranest allows you to record and view data related to baby care, such as feeds (breastfeeding, bottle), sleep, nappy changes, activities and weight, height or head circumference measurements that you enter. The purpose is to help organise day-to-day life and have an ordered summary that you can, if you wish, share with your paediatrician or other carers.
The content of the application (texts, suggestions, categories, report formats) is for guidance and general information only. It does not constitute diagnosis, treatment or medical, paediatric, nutritional or health advice of any kind.
2. We are not healthcare professionals
The controller of Naranest (Juan Raimundo Martín Gutiérrez) and those involved in developing or providing content for the Service are not doctors, paediatricians, nurses or healthcare professionals in the context of this product. The application acts solely as an organisational and informational guide. Any interpretation you make of the data or reports generated is your own responsibility.
3. Use of data and reports
Records (feeds, sleep, nappies, measurements, etc.) are entered by the user. Reports (e.g. the PDF report for the paediatrician) are generated from this data and are intended to serve as a summary or documentary support in consultation with your healthcare professional. They should not be used as the sole basis for decisions about the baby's health, feeding or development. The paediatrician or doctor should assess the information in the context of their examination and clinical judgement.
Charts, tables or averages shown by the application (e.g. for sleep or weight) are for guidance only and may not reflect medical standards or official recommendations. Any curves or references shown, if any, should be understood as purely informational and not as diagnosis or professional assessment.
4. Always consult a healthcare professional
If you have any doubts about the baby's health, feeding, growth, sleep or development, you should consult your paediatrician, doctor or healthcare professional. In case of emergency, contact emergency services or your health centre as appropriate. Do not use the application to delay or replace a medical consultation.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the controller of the Service assumes no liability for decisions you make based on the information, data or reports generated by the application. You are responsible for how you use the Service and for always checking information with a qualified professional. The controller shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the use or interpretation of the application's content as if it were medical or health advice.
6. Recommendation for professional review
This notice and the other legal texts on the site have been drafted to inform users clearly. It is recommended that a lawyer or legal adviser review them before final publication, and that a healthcare or health communication professional validate, where appropriate, any message that could be interpreted as health-related advice.
